Dave Tweedie, drummer
David Tweedie is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and film composer based in Los Angeles.
Dave has written music for multiple television shows including So You Think You Can Dance (composer Seasons 3-6), American Idol, Nashville, MTV’s Celebrity Rap Superstar, Bad Girls Club, Paris Hilton’s New BFF, Wake Bros and The Devils Ride. Dave’s music has also been featured in dozens of commercials, including JC Penny’s and
Dave has played or recorded with Stevie Wonder, Angelo Moore & Norwood Fisher (FishBone), David Immergluck (Counting Crows), Earl Slick (David Bowie), Les Claypool, Michael Manring (Book of Flames), Eric Martin, Alex Skolnick, Karl Perazzo, and DJ Jay-J Hernandez. Dave has produced tracks for NoDoubt, Flipsyde and Akon.
Dave’s film credits include The Brass Tea Pot (2013), Velocity (2004) and the award winning and critically acclaimed documentary BatKid Begins (2015).
