NAMM 2015 Recap
I had a great time at NAMM 2015! I woke up early every morning, and went to breakfast and the early morning lecture sessions. I then walked the convention center floors, meeting and greeting along the way, learning about new gear, trying old favorites and generally had a smile plastered on my face the entire time.
My favorite lecture was Saturday morning, with Apple Co-Founder, Steve Wozniak. I will never forget learning to write code in BASIC as a 5th grader. Apple offered me an awakening to the wonders of technology…and I’ve never looked back! “Woz” was insightful, informative and funny.
My favorite panel was on branding. Moderated by Jen Lowe, and featuring Mike Johnston, Ron Bienstock and Ashley Atz. They offered tons of excellent information, which I’m already starting to implement.
Over the course of 4 days, I got to spend time with old friends, met new friends, had jam sessions with amazing pianists, including Larry Dunn, sat in with my friends from Stevie Wonder’s band, and even accompanied Stevie himself on “Overjoyed”. I was indeed OVERJOYED!
