Chelsea and I were thrilled to be invited as guests for season three of Follow The Lieder to talk about our musical based on the life of Marian Anderson! The podcast is focused on lieder, which are German art songs, which happened to be Marian’s favorite musical genre. And one my favorite genres as well!
Our host, Mandee Madrid-Sikich, is Lieder Nerd, and has been a fantastic resource. Chelsea discovered Mandee and the podcast in 2020, became a big fan and shared her enthusiasm with me. I was excited to join the nerd-fest!
