What an amazing experience…
In Brooklyn, the TIDAL X performance
Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour has come to a close. It was a phenomenal success, and I had the most incredible time. I loved every minute of performing with all of the extraordinarily talented women on this tour: dancers to musicians to singers, and of course, Beyoncé. I’m an even bigger fan, knowing firsthand how hard she works, and how extremely gifted she is. She inspired all of us.
After the tour, we were all brought in to perform for the TIDAL X 1015 fundraiser for the Robin Hood Foundation. Great music for a great cause. Beyoncé recruited the full band for this one. Check out these amazing ladies!
Now that I’m back home, I’m focusing on taking a little bit of down time, and then creating some new music! I have 1 album under my belt (Grateful), and have a better perspective on what it takes to do a music project. I’m excited to convert my recent experiences into art. I’m thrilled and inspired by how many artists are now feeling free to be conceptual and take artistic risks. As a working musician, my musical interests span a massively wide range. Narrowing myself to a single genre has always been a challenge. Now that the template is evolving, I’m going to see where my muse leads me. Hm….
Love, Blessings & Music,
