Freestyle Love Supreme is on tour. First stop: San Francisco!!
Hello beautiful people! Freestyle Love Supreme is in San Francisco! What’s that, you ask? Freestyle Love Supreme (FLS) is a freestyle, improvisational, hip-hop comedy show started by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anthony Veneziale in 2004. Directed by Thomas Kail, every night the performers take suggestions from the audience and spin them into instantaneous riffs and full-length musical numbers.
Every night is different: no two shows are the same. The performers won’t know what to rap or sing about until you tell them!You may have seen in my social media posts that I was hired as one of the keyboard players for the end of the Broadway run in New York City – improvising what I played in the moment. I’ll be a guest musician for 4 shows in San Francisco next week! I’ll be onstage, so you’ll get to see me in peak creative mode!

Theaters often offer discounted or standing room tickets on the road, but I don’t have access to that information. If you want less expensive tickets, you can try the theatre’s website, which may have discounted or standing room tickets. San Francisco also has a low-cost ticket initiative so some dates have tickets for as low as $10.
I’ll also be performing with the show this summer when the tour travels to San Diego and Los Angeles. I’ll send another email message when those dates get closer.
