Founded in 2013 by Kerry and Gian Fiero, adjunct professors in San Francisco State University’s Music/Recording Industry Program, Girl Power fills the void created by male-dominated music industry conferences that fail to address the specific needs and challenges of women who work, or desire to work in all aspects of the music industry.
