An entire month has passed without a single dispatch. I had created a grand January agenda, full of the promise of goals completed, visions fulfilled: 5 hours a day of practicing! Write 1 song per day! Increase my gig repertoire, jazz and pop songs that I’ll learn all of the lyrics for! Write my blog at least once a week, letting people know about all of the marvelous, magical experiences I’ve had! Well. That didn’t happen. I did manage to practice. I did have a few GREAT gigs. I did learn a few new songs. But I haven’t written ANYTHING, either music or prose, until this moment. Where does the time go? A friend called and complained that I didn’t send an email about a performance at Yoshi’s tomorrow. Guilty as charged. I look in the mirror, and see a “February face”, and it’s only the 1st of the month! Oh, but be assured, by tomorrow, my optimistic vigor will have returned. As for today, I’ll allow a wee bit of time management (or lack thereof) prompted, frosty despondence. Brrrr. Come to a show. Warm me with your beautiful smile and much appreciated support : ><\/p>\n
