{"id":495,"date":"2008-06-24T14:37:00","date_gmt":"2008-06-24T14:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/victoriatheodore.com\/index.php\/495\/"},"modified":"2014-07-06T14:59:18","modified_gmt":"2014-07-06T14:59:18","slug":"495","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/victoriatheodore.com\/index.php\/495\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday night, we performed at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, where we had guest artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/qtip\" target=\"_blank\">Q-Tip<\/a> perform with us on &#8220;Partime Lovers&#8221; and &#8220;Do I Do&#8221;.  That was fun!<\/p>\n<p>After the show at the Taj Mahal on Saturday, we drove to Boston, and stayed in a beautiful hotel in the North End.  The show was held at the Tweeter Center for Performing Arts.  Well, I know why it\u2019s called the \u201cTweeter\u201d!  It\u2019s in honor of the little birdies who sit in the breezy ceiling and POOP on the people below!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_CVEzz0Co-pg\/SGEHL3IaHWI\/AAAAAAAAAHg\/D0-6K5AZ2i4\/s1600-h\/DSCN0144.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_CVEzz0Co-pg\/SGEHL3IaHWI\/AAAAAAAAAHg\/D0-6K5AZ2i4\/s200\/DSCN0144.JPG\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5215457743830916450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>During sound check, we were all standing in our respective stations, and suddenly I noticed a distinct splash from above.  \u201cEwwwww!!  What was that?\u201d, I thought to myself.  Well, lo and behold a precious avian friend had relieved itself from above, and it splashed all over my keyboards!  Thank GOD I was standing enough to the right that I didn\u2019t get hit (can you imagine?  I would have been utterly mortified\u2026I\u2019d have had to wash and restyle my hair, and that\u2019s no small task with my full, long mane)!<\/p>\n<p>The woman in charge of wildlife for the facility was shocked that the birds hadn\u2019t all flown away once we started making noise, as is apparently the norm.  I took it as a good omen (especially since I was personally spared), and once everything had been cleaned and sanitized, we went ahead and had a great show.
