I jogged along the Birmingham Canal, which is beautiful, towards the NIA, the show venue.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_CVEzz0Co-pg\/SM_l1KiOSkI\/AAAAAAAAAO4\/v0X0NrvsScQ\/s1600-h\/DSCN0223.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_CVEzz0Co-pg\/SM_l1KiOSkI\/AAAAAAAAAO4\/v0X0NrvsScQ\/s200\/DSCN0223.JPG\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246664792433642050\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As I jogged, I periodically stopped to take photos, and a bird decided to come near me.  I\u2019m sure it wanted food, but I only took its photo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_CVEzz0Co-pg\/SM_l-2_-VWI\/AAAAAAAAAPI\/0iFhrYMY7nk\/s1600-h\/DSCN0221.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_CVEzz0Co-pg\/SM_l-2_-VWI\/AAAAAAAAAPI\/0iFhrYMY7nk\/s200\/DSCN0221.JPG\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246664958988408162\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I trotted back to the hotel, just in time to catch the complimentary Continental Breakfast. I\u2019m determined to spend as little as possible while on tour, and so far I\u2019m doing really well!  I haven\u2019t spent a thing!  Lol  After breakfast, I went to the gym and worked out with weights and did about 20 minutes of yoga.  The gym space in the hotel was decent, with a giant mat that was slip resistant.  It wasn\u2019t quite clean enough to do floor work, but I managed to do standing stretches.<\/p>\n<p>I felt rather exhausted through sound check at the NIA.  I think everyone is tired from jet lag, but we did a great show anyway.  After about 40 minutes of music, Stevie changed the set list.  We performed a group of the hits from the 60s and 70s.  The audience, a packed house, LOVED it.  The energy of the show and the flow were fantastic, and I\u2019m guessing we\u2019ll be repeating that particular sequence\u2026for the most part!<\/p>\n<p>After the show, we headed to Manchester, about a 2 hour drive from Birmingham.
