I’ve got my swimsuit ready! Where’s the pool party?\u00a0Ah, yes, gotta love living in Southern California! The days are getting hotter, and so is my schedule.<\/p>\n

I’ve\u00a0got some hot shows with the amazing band Farofa<\/a> this week. Farofa is a group of phenomenal\u00a0Brazilian musicians (Felipe Fraga<\/a>, Isaias Elpes<\/a>, Luis Mascaro<\/a>) who live in Los Angeles. On occasion, their guitarist, JP Mur\u00e3o<\/a>, asks me to sub for him, and this week I get to pretend to be Carioca twice! If you haven’t seen Farofa,\u00a0and want to see me with them, don’t miss this free performance.\u00a0Their original compositions and innovative, fresh interpretations of contemporary American pop songs are invigorating, exciting and fun! You will dance…<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIn July, I’ll be traveling to Lebanon to perform at the Zouk Mikael International Festival<\/a> with the fantastic singer\/songwriter\u00a0Mayssa Karaa<\/a> and a group of distinguished American musicians: our MD Carmine Rojas<\/a>, Scott Page<\/a>,\u00a0Marcus Nand<\/a>, Rich Jacques<\/a> and Neal Daniels<\/a>. I’m so excited! I’ve never been to Lebanon, and can’t wait to get there and perform the beautiful blend of\u00a0American and Lebanese music that we’ve been rehearsing.<\/p>\n

Once I get back\u00a0to the USA, I’ll be heading to Summerfest<\/a> in Milwaukee to be a mentor for the School of Rock at Summerfest! This event, School of Rock OnTour@Summerfest, showcases 500+ students in 60 bands from 30+ School of Rock locations around the US and Australia. Over the course of two days, the students will rock the Summerfest audience from numerous stages, performing iconic rock songs with professional guest artists from legendary bands. I’m looking forward to hearing what these talented young musicians can do! Check out School of Rock<\/a> to find a school near you.<\/p>\n
