{"id":1305,"date":"2014-10-18T05:31:05","date_gmt":"2014-10-18T05:31:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/victoriatheodore.com\/?p=1305"},"modified":"2014-10-18T05:41:05","modified_gmt":"2014-10-18T05:41:05","slug":"vtgratefulplan-eat-exercise-like","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/victoriatheodore.com\/index.php\/vtgratefulplan-eat-exercise-like\/","title":{"rendered":"#VTgratefulPlan &#8211; how to eat and exercise like me&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have been told by many people that they\u00a0are inspired by the way that I\u00a0maintain my health. \u00a0It&#8217;s pretty simple: I&#8217;ve preferred healthy foods my entire life (I stopped eating red meat, candy, soda, fast food and junk food when I was 13 because I thought it tasted bad and never liked it), and I&#8217;m\u00a0always on the move, dancing, doing yoga, walking, hiking, etc. \u00a0I even dance when I play piano (as those of you who&#8217;ve seen me with Stevie Wonder or on the Arsenio Hall Show are aware)!<\/p>\n<p>Since \u00a0summer, I&#8217;ve been practicing a semi-raw vegan diet. \u00a0In the mornings, I have a raw vegan smoothie (almond milk\/avocado\/coconut oil base, whatever fruit I choose, flax and chia seed for protein). \u00a0I have a raw vegan soup or salad for dinner. \u00a0I have whatever I crave for lunch. \u00a0However, what I crave is generally REALLY healthy food. \u00a0Now and then I will have a turkey burger or fish or chicken (but only the highest quality). \u00a0I trust my cravings, and I figure if I crave it, I must need it. \u00a0That way, I don&#8217;t live in deprivation. \u00a0In fact, I love most of my meals. \u00a0And I feel healthier than ever!<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, when one of my sisters decided to\u00a0mimic me way of living in order to lose weight, I was happy to send her my recipe ideas and exercise regiment.
